Welcome to my class!
This is my thirteenth year here at Lewis Elementary as the ESOL teacher. Previously, I was a teacher of the gifted student at Addison Elementary in Cobb County. In total, I have been teaching for 37 years and have taught various grades in Germany, Texas, and Puerto Rico. Every year is as exciting as my 1st year teaching. I was raised in El Paso, Texas by my mother and grandparents. I delight in telling you that my grandparents were born andor raised in Mexico. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor Degree in Science specializing in Elementary Education. I also hold a Masters of Arts Degree specializing in the Diverse Learner. In addition, I hold an ESOL endorsement, Gifted Endorsement, and a Reading Endorsement. I have two grown children. My daughter is a Math teacher at Pine Mountain Middle School and my son is a customer relations expert with Amplify. The joy of my life is a Maltipoo named Hamlet and he is 6 years old. © 2009 Lewis Elementary School / Cobb County School District. All Rights Reserved. CCSD Legal Disclaimer |
